The proximity of the Technology Centers to CARB (California Air Resource Board) and EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) , respectively, allow them to function as a liaison between colleagues in Germany and government agencies in the United States. Both locations are fully equipped to perform emissions testing for certification and development testing and also manage vehicle durability fleets for Daimler and Third Parties.
